I kind of like this story but is seems to highlight some of the worse and not all of the best. I like the idea that I have had the same personal e-mail address for around 30 years. That is longer than I have had the same phone number or address at about 20 years and yes that same phone number is now my cell phone number.

I has been at least a decade since I sent AOL a penny when the let us connect with “bring your own ISP.” Sadly some of the service that AOL provided have been eliminated but my original “cloud” storage and web page was on AOL in Hometown AOL. That stuff is gone now. Long live AOL.
