I know that most people are going to say, what the heck on first read but bear with me. We should eliminate corporate profit taxes. The loop holes and dodges cause negative incentives in the system that lead to waste. We need to tax those profits when the get transferred to the stockholders either as capital gains or as dividends and tax them at the normal tax rates not some reduced capital gains tax rate. Companies will then have no reason to offshore profits, inflate executive salaries or fund wasted R&D. They will show more profit and tax revenue will be increased, it will just be collected from shareholders not the companies.
