I may have started out WEIRD but move past that. Western is overrated. Educated is a must, Industial is kind of agnostic. Rich is relative, rich compared to what? Democratic another must.

Democratic is like Capitalistic, flawed but the best we have and can have.

Western culture may have succeeded but at too high a price. It must be rejected in favor of something sustainable and less greedy and self-centered. Education needs to be reformed is so many ways that I can't even scratch the surface here. Industrial if only we could be happy with less mass production and more artisianal and DIY products. Rich needs to be about quality not quantity. A rich broth is not an expensive one but one full of flavor. Democratic needs to be more about of the people and less about the ballot box. It is not so much voting as it is about governance reflecting the will of the people.
