I need to work on responding in ways that seem less critical. I don't mean to demean your writing or Mike's. I should include more encouragement. I am glad for what both of you write and the work of others whom I also critique. Criticism does not mean disrespect.

The solution will come in phases. Phase 1 needs to be getting money out of politics. SCOTUS did us a huge disservice when the ruled on Citizens United. We are losing ground. Congress needs to pass meaningful campaign finance reform but it will be hard to convince our representatives to give up the big donors. While the rich can buy the best representation the nation has to offer the rich will rule.

I might know a lot about somethings and a little about most things, it is not because I am very smart. Sometimes I am a slow learner but I have been a student for more than 60 years somethings have sunk in. Never stop learning.
