I read very many of the comments. It seems most are from people who had stories published by PSILU. Maybe those writers can come together and save the publication. I think the issue is how to compensate the editors. I get it, editors add a lot of value and without the Medium subsidy PSILU has no way to compensate editors unless they/the publication are the "author of record" and then they would need an agreement with the writers about how to split the revenue. I write on Medium, I don't have any editorial help and I don't take a penny from Medium, I pay a subscription and my writing is available to anyone (even people who don't subscribe) for free. I am not sure what all the changes are on Medium but often things seem to change in ways I don't like. I still like Medium a lot. I think Medium must be struggling trying to find a model that really works. At least I stopped getting a ton of self-help and "I made a fortune on Medium" stories in my feed :-).
