I subscribe to Medium so I might subscribe to a news source. You made little to no mention of my news sources. Google News, Yahoo News, AOL News, Microsoft News, the Weather Channel. These aggregators offer me a variety of news sources. Sometimes I hit a pay wall and can't find free reporting of the story. I don't like that but I won't subscribe to Bloomberg, Wall St. Journal, New York Times and Washington Post. I can't choose so I don't and just look at the free news. Oh, if I was to choose it would be Bloomberg or would be if they could fix it so every story I click opened properly. I did try a trial subscription. The content that opened was great but half the stories did not open and I contacted customer service and go no help. I cancelled and they offered me more months for free and I told them no thanks. I don't use Twitter and am not sad about it. I do cross paths with CNN reporting via the aggregators but I don't even think it is in my favorites list. BBC is, if I am away from my computer and need a distraction I listen to BBC podcasts. I get no news from Facebook. If it is not a personal message I try to ignore it. If it is political I block the sender. Very few people can make posts to Facebook that I see.

I subscribe to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Kindle unlimited but don't really get value, I use them so little. I spend 10 times more time on Medium than the others combined.
