I suggest you live like there is no God but hope there is. To me this requires that you always do what good you can and avoid doing bad hoping that if there is a God, it will look upon you favorably. The life can be its own reward in case there is not spiritually after death but preserves the possibility of one. Who knows the unexplained events may be explained someday. Maybe there are forces or powers we have still not discovered.

I still suggest you live like it does not matter either way.
