I think we need to be more active in adapting to the changes that are upon us.

We need to work this not just abandon them. Think Venice or Amsterdam.

For some people flooding will be the new normal. It can be just a minor inconvenience if you are prepared for it. Of course if you are not prepared it can be fatal.

Adaptation and mitigation are vital.
