I think you have a good story here but a couple items.

There is nothing different about two recessions before you turn 40, recession happen approximately every 8 years so almost everyone sees two recessions as an adult before they are 40.

A lot of Boomers were still in school into their 20's and did not buy a house until their 30's. Count me a boomer in that cohort.
