I think you misunderstood my comment. Using frequency of search data to gage interest leaves out people like me who read lots of stories about those subjects but did not use a search engine to find the stories.

I use Google and Bing when I search because they are convenient not because they are best.

My usual news sources gave me plenty of variety of stories on Musk, Ukraine and Twitter. I did not do searches on those subjects.
