I think you need to be more careful what you say about Bitcoin. Its proof of work block chain technology is being supplanted by a better type of block chain based on proof of stake. That is not to say that someone will not come up with something even better than proof of stake. It is very hard to trust something that can be replaced in the blink of an eye.
