A lack of sex, friendship, or family doesn’t give anybody the right to use or abuse somebody else.
Some times we consent to use and abuse, we accept it or perpetrate it by silent mutual consent because talking about it would just ruin it. If you admit it, it is hard to continue.
I spent most of that weekend alone and ended the relationship. No sex.
In previous years, I might have made different choices. I might have even tried to patch things up with that partner by using sex as an incentive to spend time with me.
