I will accept what you said as true but...

I worked every school day. Two hours before classes started, I got up at 4 am each morning. I was in a sport all three seasons, and had once a week nighttime Jazz Band practice. I did not do homework every night but never did my homework take more than a couple hours unless it was a term paper or such. Yeah, I skipped the reading assignments (except books for book reports) and focused on assignments that would be graded for score. I just don't see how you would not have to have written book reports or term papers. How can you learn to write without writing? How to learn to solve math problems without actually doing math problems?
