If a law is believed to violate the Constitution the appropriate action is first in the courts.

to demand that politicians refuse to comply with statewide gun laws that violate the Second Amendment

This action is because it is clear the courts don’t consider the law a violation of the Constitution.

“Assault Weapons” bans have cleared the courts. The courts have ruled that while you have the right to bear arms, the government can put restrictions of what arms.

Why the outrage against “Assault Weapons” bans but no outrage against the ban of new fully automatic weapons or the $200 tax on silencers.
