If the cost of offseting our GHG emissions is so trivial why are the emissions still a problem. Seriously something has got to be wrong with the numbers. We are talking total emissions not excess emissions. To offset my family’s emissions is less than 30 bucks a month? Not just reduce out impact to a fair share but to totally wipe them out.

Maybe this is true but it does not scale if everyone paid for offsets not enough affordable offsets would be available as all the cheap and easy projects would be oversubscribed.
