If you are not Jesus and you die on a cross for your peeps, you are still dead. If the reward for leadership is getting the last place in line, why would anyone want to be a leader? I avoided leadership positions because I would not take advantage of my position so I would only get the downside and no upside. I got promoted against my desire so I was now responsible and accountable but without authority constantly being undermined by peers and my "leadership."

Leadership is dead because only asshole and fools would want to be leaders.
