In 2050 I will be 92 years old and someone can come get all my data, a lot of it is books and paper. They can come get my equipment, welders, fermenters, casting ovens, presses, saws, you name it. I already live a minimalist (sort of) lifestyle. If I can't make it I can probably live without it. I would be happy if nobody had a cell phone or if cell phones did not work. I would really miss the internet, but I don't need it. Not sure I would be happy with a local diet. Certainly not going to be starving in 2050 but food might not be so wonderful. The wine I make will be ok but not great. Medical care and medicine, that is the wild card. Might not be much of either.
