Is a person a slave if they are not forced or coerced into their position. While I might be rich I don't live just for myself, I also live to serve, I live to create a better future. It is a balance, take care of myself, feed and care for my family and try to make the world a better place.

Maybe my tone was off in my story about cooking for my wife. I do not resent cooking. It was something that I chose, something I enjoy. It is one way I can contribute to managing our home. It was well established long before we got married. The not eating out or having takeout is a more recent change. She does make some exceptions. She did give me a recipe just yesterday. I cooked it and she was appropriately appreciative.

Successful/well off people can be demanding. We can seem to be locked into our vision of what we want and think is right. I don't think there is a common vision, we each have our own ideas our own visions.
