Is someone making Quaaludes again? Really though, aren't we passed the point of avoiding disaster and we are really only taking about a matter of the severity of the disaster? I have often written about we need to be working mitigations harder and accept that serious consequences are already baked in. No, we don't throw in the towel we just change gears and make preparations for the likely consequences.
