Is there something wrong with being really technical? I was just trying to encourage better writing. I was not harsh or demeaning. Isn't what you said, what I said that I thought she meant. The point is to write with more precision. Say what you really mean. Be accurate and trueful. Oh, and leave out the extraneous bullshit. It would not have hurt her story if she left out the not really true statement.

I have been criticized by my peers because they think I am too literal. I take it as a complement.

You ever hear someone complain "don't bitch at me, I did it just like you said to, I can't read your mind."

For years I wrote instructions for the tasks needed to prepare the Space Shuttle for space flight. I don't see why editorials should not be written with the same precision.

On a side note, the Holy Grail of peer-to-peer money transfers using a cell phone are going to be reducing the high transaction costs. There is still a third party beside the cell service provider. The block chain needs to be paid its gas/miner fees.

PayPal lets you transfer money to Friends and Family with no fee but no right to reverse the transaction for any reason (you're not going to be able to reverse a blockchain transfer either). You can do that with an e-mail address/PayPal account on a cell phone. It is going to be very hard to beat that.
