It does not seem they have innovated anything. A company I once worked for built an industrial scale solar furnace decades ago. The target temperature was lower because it was for producing electricity but that is just a matter of how tight a focus you target.

Heliogen can call back when the make their first solar cement plant. That would probably require some real innovation and engineering development.
