It is only sort of interesting to read all this and the comments with the writers' perspectives (I only read it because the Penguin wrote it). I do write a bit but not behind the pay wall so I don't know anything about getting paid. I do look at my stats, people, a few at least read what I have written.

As a reader and financial supporter, I am not going anywhere. I do think writing on Medium about writing on Medium is sort of, I don't have the right word, but I don't really like when people do it. I would rather people take that effort and write about something I would rather read. I wish I could tell you what that would be but I can't. I can tell you something else it is not and that is, it is not any subject commonly in the mainstream media.

I like pieces about history.

I guess I am not really a writer because I have almost no interest in stories about other writers and writing or Medium from the writer's point of view. Just give me something new and interesting to read.
