Some may argue that it’s unethical. On the other hand, in a world where the practice is near impossible to stop, you’re only cheating yourself by doing everything you can and going the extra mile to make sure you pay tax to your government.

It is not an argument, it is a fact. Tax evasion is unethical. Hiding income to avoid paying the taxes due is criminal, unethical and wrong. You are cheating everyone who lives in the country you would owe taxes. Follow the law, not just what you can get away with. Tax avoidance is bad enough but tax evasion (cheating) is worse.

Yeah, offshore banking is not criminal. Not accurately reporting you income is criminal.
