It matters to me that Jesus is Caucasian because I think that is the truth. It is actually more precise to say he was a Semite and a Jew but the debate was about whether he was Caucasian, which I think is a fact. I was just defending a statement I made that I think was correct. It would not matter to me if he was black, brown, yellow or red. I find many wise men were yellow or brown. I expect that there are many black wise men but I have not studied them. It is clear my education was biased.

The is only one species of humans and what we call races are actually a subcategories. Actually Modern Humans (Homo Sapiens Sapiens) is the last remaining species of in the Genus Homo. There are different races of dogs and cats but we call them breeds. It is a bit crude to call different variations of humans, breeds, so we call them races. Man made definitions of differences we can see that we use to divide us, to stereotype and discriminate. Light skin, blonde hair and blue or green eyes, required a lot of selective breeding. They are recessive traits.

It is likely that there were as many a nine species of intelligent humans (Genus Homo) but today all are extinct except Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

Homo Sapiens Sapiens

Homo Sapiens Neandratalensis

Homo Sapiens

Homo Neandratalensis

Homo Denisova

Homo Erectus

Homo Habilus

Homo Heidelbergensis

Homo Naledi

These are not our genetic ancestors, they are dead ends. Some were likely killed off by our ancestors.

Homo Sapiens Sapiens did not start farming until 23,000 years ago and the Neanderthals died out 40,000 years ago. Before 40,000 years ago we were both hunter gathers along with the Denisovans. Sharing the land. Not sure it was a peaceful situation.
