It seems you are working in a toxic culture. I would suggest you leave. I can understand not speaking out and trying to break the toxicity as you would end up with a black mark on your record when they reprimand or fire you. Keeping quiet or worse just superficially conforming could be emotionally damaging.

It seems that the American Elites are forcing us to pick sides and then they will attack those on the other side when they can. Common sense, moderation, tolerance, and accommodation for different points of view are harder and harder to find.

It seems that both sides are all in on a winner take all gambit. On longer is their any thought of working together.
