Just so you understand what you are demanding. If you got your way the Governor of Louisiana would be a Republican not a Democrat.

I have considered that you might prefer it be that way but I don’t understand it really. As a RINO who voted for John Bel Edwards and one who would have voted for him if he was pro-choice, I often feel like I am voting for the lesser of two evils. If a pro-choice Democrat was running I might have voted for them but they would almost certainly have lost.

There are some places where Liberal Democrats cannot win so why not run a Conservative Democrat. John Bel Edwards may not be pro-choice but he did get Medicaid Expansion passed here, that would not have happened with a Republican Governor.

I don’t believe in Litmus Tests or Single Issue Voting. You take the victories that you can make happen instead of tilting at windmills.
