Making discrimination illegal does not eliminate it.

White adjacent does not mean equal. The 5th floor is adjacent but below the 6th.

Even if half of white people treat minorities as equal, the minorities will still face discrimination.

Old white men still rule a lot of the world, and it seems still can get away with rape.

I am an old white man who never raped anyone, and I am not color blind, I treat people of color better than I do white people. I can tell which white people are asshats, I don't know people of color well enough to tell one from the other.

Regarding Asians, there are so many different kinds of Asians, it is daunting.

If I am guilty of discrimination, it is discrimination if favor of persons of color. I know I should treat everyone based on merit but it so hard to tell who deserves good treatment.
