Maybe you could provide some dialog regarding the info in the link. I don't think it is a surprise that private universities are beholden to their donors. I don't understand how a Qatari donation to a private university could be illegal. The university accepting that donation and hiding the source, that might be unethical, but maybe not illegal. Foreign governments paying American universities to open branches in their country, that I think is a good thing.
