Most businesses are not profitable if they are not exploitative or shady (unethical). Working from the inside from middle management on down you can do very little to change the culture. Upper management is incentivized to make profit and only worry about what is right or wrong if it is likely to become public knowledge and in that way affect profit. What the customer doesn’t know helps us make money and makes our job easier.
