My comment was a bit tongue in cheek. The people mostly did not know better, did not want to know better, might not have believed the lies but probably did not care either way. Government is weak on regulations for many different reasons and even this action will be worse than too little too late. Bunches of effort and money by the state fighting in court. The only ones to benefit will be lawyers. The consumers will pay for it all and not much good will happen. Might be a bit of (overconsuming) consumer karma.

Sometimes I just want to give up and party like its 1999.
