"No Weekend For You

The Weekend is your time to recharge your batteries, work on projects at home, and spend time with family or friends."

Most of us get three-day weekends for more than half the weeks of the year. We work 9/80. We work 9 days every fortnight (two weeks). We get every other Friday off. We work 9 hours each workday. This is followed almost religiously for non-managerial staff and working a scheduled day off is compensated with overtime pay. This is kept to a minimum. This has been in place for more than a decade.
