My solution is to provide incentives for the rich to support climate change activism. Pay oil companies to not pump oil. Pay incentives to producers of green products. I hate giving more money to billionaires but if the alternative is an unlivable planet then I would gladly pay the evil bastards to be less evil. We can't beat them but their greed will cause them to act to save the planet we just need to make it pay.

They only do the evil they do for the money and power it provides. We just need to make it so the get more money and power from going green than they get from destroying the planet.
