Naming our schools or other institutions after the Founding Fathers or other political figures is problematic, nobody is universally popular and nobody is without sins. Using U.S. politicians a role models and school names is Nationalistic, not something we need to be doing right now. Changing the names is also something we don't really need to be doing either. It is divisive.

I think you are divisive. You use the term "the opposition" Is this some contest. Instead of looking for opposition how about looking for people who are interested in the greater social good and form a coalition to good. Don't look for some boogey man to blame, look for support to make positive change.

Criticism should be constructive and instructive not punitive or divisive.
