Nothing borrowed from future generation, every impact paid at time of extraction or production. Full cost accounting, environment remediation must be paid in advance. When you make a plastic bottle you pay the cost to recover that bottle and you need to collect a plastic bottle for every one you make. If you burn a gallon of gas you need to pay to remove 18 pounds of carbon from the air.

Everyone gets the same carbon ration, something less than 10 tons per year per person. I suggest that the poor be allowed to sell their rations to the rich even across borders.

The solution is ridiculously simple but very painful. We cut our consumption. We massively cut our consumption. If you have not already started cutting either you already were a low consumer or you are evil.
