Passionate, eloquent and well, maybe wrong.

For that to happen, local action won’t suffice — a global movement needs to be led for the rejection of neoliberal values.

We need to hope local action is sufficient because you aren’t getting an effective global movement. The Oligarchic Plutocratic Elites have global reach and they can divide any global groups up like sliced onions and they have global reach of immense power. They even fund their global opposition and that gives them a great voice in those movements.

Act locally, if successful maybe something bigger will grow but wasting effort on a global movement now is just that, a waste. Take that energy and make your city an oasis of Green New Deals.

It is more important who is your mayor or governor than who is your president. There is no potent world government. It seems national governments are become impotent.
