Regarding how I adjusted for inflation, I used real gdp numbers not nominal gdp numbers. No, I don't want to build a spreadsheet of the data back to the 40 to do an analysis. Like you said, I am not in the field, I will spend my efforts elsewhere.

This all started when I read your story, and it was clear to me you were cherry picking the time frames to support you conclusion and I responded saying so.

Regarding my expertise, I have been reviewing analysis of structures and fluids systems performance data for decades. I can spot someone cherry picking their time intervals quite easily.

It is interesting that others have speculated about a possible recession in 2022, no I did not read that somewhere, it is something I concluded when I ran my analysis of the data for the last 20 years. In my unprofessional opinion and using my criteria we did have a recession in 2022.

Regarding your Doctorate, I am more interested in a person's accomplishments than their education. Have you received any awards or published any prestigious papers. In your field I am guessing the only tangible results would be great wealth, being a retired investment banker you probably are worth hundreds of millions.
