Remember we deliberately dragged out this pandemic to bend the curve. Some people wanted to just get on with it and get it over and accept the greater losses that would entail. We are still doing our best to drag it out so that the vaccines will have a chance to save lives.

Too many want to get back to normal. Normal was bad and we have not learned enough during the pandemic about what the new normal should be. I for one want the new normal to not be the same as the old normal. I want to continue to work from home, to not commute to work, to cook more of our own meals. Too buy less things and to write more.

It was nice to not be obligated to travel both for work and to socialize. There is so much pressure to go places and do things you can post to Instagram or Facebook.
