I was responding to a story here on Medium and the author blocked me. I was not using any harsh or even critical language, just making points about my opinions on the issue. The following is a response that did not make it to the story as when I clicked respond I got a message that something went wrong and to try again. Which since, the author blocked me, trying again was a waste of time.

I admit, I might be a bit uninformed regarding the rules and I am sure the author is allowed to block anyone for any reason, but it makes me want to call them out for their behavior. I want to name names but wonder, should I?

Here is the type of thing I was responding with:

“The not idiots of the west want Israel to comply with international law regarding the conduct of war. Israel is not under an existential threat. Israel’s enemies are not powerful enough to succeed in bring about the destruction and extermination of Israel. It is understandable that Israel would like to eliminate the possibility of its enemy’s continued attacks. The nature of a terrorist threat is it can’t be fully eliminated even with unacceptably excessive measures. Sometimes too strong an effort to root out terrorists actually strengthens the terrorists as it causes a backlash and supports the narrative that the oppressor is evil.
TEK”

I don’t even see how this is controversial or offensive.
