Socialisms appeal is not based on a philosophy it is based on desires. Its supporters desire better lives than the status quo provides. They want change and socialism is the only change being fronted.

They feel the Plutocratic Oligarchic Elites and Politicians will provide nothing more than the minimum that will keep the population from violent protests. Socialism’s supporter don’t feel like the people in power care about their welfare.

Hey, they feel the grass of socialism if not greener will be no worse.
