Regarding the theory that the virus escaped a Chinese lab. Notice I don’t call it a conspiracy theory because the way you presented it, it was not a conspiracy but more likely if true, it was an accident.

Research into communicable biological agents is risky but all the great world powers and others do it. Some just for science and health and some as a weapon. While I trust the U.S. not to have an accident more than I trust China, neither make me comfortable. A couple years ago some U.S. lab could not account for all its missing plague agents.

Regarding you alarm that we may be reduced to pillaging. Shame on you, that is not something to publish. If unlikely you are just fear mongering and if more likely then spreading that word will encourage it. Shame on you.

This mixing satire, humor and advice is dangerous. You should be more careful with what you write.
