Religion is politics by a different name. Too many people conflate religion with spiritualism. I embrace God but reject religion.

You are a little off with God always being considered male, that is mostly another Abrahamic fallacy that said those who consider God, the Green Mother, female are also in my mind wrong. God, there is but one God, the creator of all that is and will be, is not gendered. God's pronoun is "it."

Regarding Israel, Palestine, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran and all the various supporter and detractors. A pox on all their houses. May God spare as many of the innocent as can be. Anyone sending arms to the region is evil. Take away their weapons and let them fight with sticks and stones. Double pox for making a profit from sending weapons to the region. People earning blood money often end up hanging themselves, serves them right to finally find their conscience.

I find the Arab/Israeli conflict an apt analog for what I think the outcome will be in the Ukraine. A protracted unresolved conflict with displacement and disputed borders lasting decades.

The death, waste, destruction and sadness are painful to watch. Just as painful is seeing those who celebrate, embrace and enjoy the conflict. Those in the media seem almost ecstatic. $$$$$$$$$$$
