Switching from a car that gets 25 mpg to one that gets 30 mpg reduces GHG gas emission as much as eating 100 pounds less beef each year or replacing 170 pounds of beef with chicken or pork. Very few people eat 170 pounds of beef so mostly that is not an option. I expect that if you eat 170 or more pounds of beef each year you will ignore this story.

Yeah, eat less beef, eat less meat, get a more fuel efficient vehicle and take less Uber rides. Nah, don’t bother because unless way more people wake up you are depriving yourself in a lost cause, martyr.
