TEK, is my initials, my signature for posts here. I can understand about subject based being narrow but that is the price for deep research. In subject based forums you get facts that are beyond what is covered even by Wikipedia or other encyclopedias. Peer reviewed publications are even more narrow. I guess when you said research, you don't mean in depth research. Being a scientist when I think research I think data and analysis first hand not something dumbed down for the general public.
