Thanks for your considerate response. My comment was not meant to be a slam. I am sure my doctor's office has refrigeration, he gives flu, pneumonia and shingles shots but not Covid shots. I got my shot at one of my local Walmart pharmacies. My first stop, that Walmart did not have Modera in stock, two days wait for their supply but a Walmart just a few miles away had Moderna and when I got there, there was no line, no wait and no appointment. As far as prescriptions go, I usually pick up at the Walmart drive thru at the same store I got my Booster and never more than two cars in line ahead of me. Usually filled the same day I call them in and zero-dollar copay. Seriously, they waive the copay on almost every script I fill there. My booster shot was free to me too.

I don't know that pharmacies here are contracted to provide Covid shots. They have provided vaccines in the past when I have needed them like a flu shot or Tetanus shot. Shots are just a thing they do around here. They take you insurance info and bill the insurance. I don't know about free Covid shots for the uninsured, don't know who pays or who they bill. Almost everyone has medial insurance, over 90% of people, much higher than the vaccination rate.
