You say Coders, I asked what is a developer so I guess your answer is a Software Developer. In my mind a Coder is not a Software Developer but I guess that depends on which version of software development you practice.

Coders might not need job security but that is because they have it. Possession of a much needed skill is a priceless kind of job security. Maybe we should call that income security.
