Other lesser players, including individuals need to push the "World Powers" to act to reduce the killing and deaths.

I hear it said that a ceasefire would benefit Russia giving them time to rearm, that is clearly now exposed as a lie. A ceasefire would present the same opportunity for the Ukraine to rearm and for other nations to consider sending peacekeepers to the Ukraine.
