That progressive media is suffering is not a surprise. In a Capitalistic society you must capture enough of the right kind of interest (market share) to sustain the enterprise or better yet, grow market share and grow the enterprise.

Your story seems to be a whine about how Capitalists don’t seem to want to fund your anti-capitalistic media. Well, duh.

If you are going to take on powerful enemies you will need powerful friends or the support of the masses.

Capitalism is not the problem it is Oligarchs, Monopolists, and Plutocrats who are the problem. Private ownership of the means of production and the pooling of capital to create a business is not bad or wrong. Using wealth and power to manipulate the rules, markets and regulations to benefit a few to the disadvantage of the many is what is bad and wrong and that is not capitalism that is more like fascism.
