That would not work, the National Debt is $34 trillion. Total dollars in circulation are less than $2 trillion and the total money supply M2 is less than $22 trillion. There is no equivalence between debt and money supply. You want to know where the difference is, it is the Fed Balance sheet, that missing $8 trillion, the Fed is holding it.
