The die is already cast. The outcome of this war is more war or at least not peace. The fighting might abate but it will continue at a lower level. The line of contact might move toward or even past the 2014 positions but that does not mean the shooting stops. I expect that Russia will continue to fire every rocket they can make at targets in Ukraine. This is a new normal that we all will have to get used to.
