The ecological footprint of pods is trivial, that truck that comes by my street to collet trash, if everyone on the street used pods they would still be only a tiny part of what it collects. I will admit that the pods are a significant part of my trash but that is because I have almost no other trash. I don't even put the trash to the curb every week because of the tiny amount of waste I generate, my neighbors, a full bin twice a week.
